About the workshop

The session begins with a short, easy introduction where the instructor walks you through the basics of the pottery wheel and shows you how it works. Once the demonstration is done, it’s your turn. Each participant gets their own pottery wheel, giving you time and space to practice at your own pace. You’ll spend the rest of the session exploring the wheel, shaping clay, and getting a feel for the process. The instructor stays with you throughout — offering guidance, small tips, and gentle corrections whenever you need them.

What You’ll Make

During the session, you may create 2–3 small pieces.

Results can vary, as it’s your first time — and that’s completely okay.

The focus is on experiencing the wheel and enjoying the process.

Taking Your Pieces Home

Pottery requires time to dry slowly before it can be fired in the kiln, glazed, and fired again. Because of this process, pieces cannot be taken home on the same day.

Drying, Glazing & Shipping

If you would like to keep your pieces, drying, glazing, and firing can be added later at an additional cost of INR 500 + taxes per piece.

Finished pieces can either be collected from the studio after approximately 10 days or shipped to your address anywhere in India at an additional cost of INR 300 + taxes per piece.

You can decide whether you would like to keep your pieces after completing the workshop
